The place, which in the plans of the time was supposed to be a jewel in Calabria's crown, is in fact a dilapidated, built-up area that has stolen life from the sea to feed its own. In a context of decadence, this restaurant, if you overlook its appearance, offers excellent quality fish, perfectly cooked, in generous portions, and an overall excellent value. Desserts are out. But if you're in the area—and strangely, the area doesn't have any great restaurants—I recommend it. The service is helpful and friendly.
