I've been going there for many years and can't say anything negative. Very friendly service and good food. There's plenty of space, and the portions are more than sufficient. I always enjoy coming.

It was very good, tasty, and the staff was friendly. The prices are good. The restaurant is located right on the Adige River. Highly recommended after a day of hiking, etc. We ordered the "Laterne" pizza.

03/11/2025: Five stars are not enough to rate this place. Staying there was an eleven-star experience! Everything in Gasthof Kohlern invites you to slowly appreciate the beauty of life: the natural environment, with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains; the cuisine, with delicious and refined dishes, the wines, the breakfasts; the simple elegance of the rooms; the peace and quiet; and last but not least, the generous and considerate kindness of the staff. Viele Dank: you make this place a perfect combination of charming and soothing.
24/10/2025: We only visited the restaurant after a short autumn hike. The view was beautiful, and we also had a snack in a wonderful setting. Thank you very much!
