Absolute excellence. "Il Gatto Rosso" is a gastronomic experience that deserves every recognition in the Michelin guide. From the moment you enter, the atmosphere welcomes you with elegance and warmth, but it is the cuisine that really wins you over. The starters are a triumph of flavours, perfectly balanced and prepared with the highest quality raw materials. The first courses are an explosion of taste: creative, refined and with that touch that makes them unforgettable. And the fish… simply perfect. Extremely fresh, expertly cooked and impeccably presented. A restaurant that elevates the concept of fish cuisine to a true art. Highly recommended for those looking for a top-level culinary experience. I can't wait to go back!

Arrived at 1pm order taken at 2pm served at 2.45pm really long waiting time also considering the fairly high price of the food itself. In the meantime we ate 3 trays of bread and thank goodness they brought water in the meantime. Experience not to be repeated

Decent food, bad service. The waiter seemed to believe my wife should order the same dish as I did, and sort of insisted on it. There were ppl coming and going in the restaurant, who are neither customers nor staff. It seemed strange.

We spent a pleasant gastronomic evening in excellent company at the Gatto Rosso, one of the most highly rated restaurants in Taranto (also reported by the "Michelin Guide"). The dinner exceeded expectations: the numerous appetizers focused on the freshest fish and made delicious thanks to the delicacy of the sauces and for the originality of the various presentations. Perfect among the first courses are the "paccheri alla ricciola" and the excellent (and abundant) fried calamari and prawns! ......" Il vaut le voyage"....;-)

09/01/2025: Beautiful and magical location, enviably positioned in the countryside between Martina Franca and Locorotondo, therefore a favorable place to move easily in the middle of the beautiful Valle d'Itria. Excellent raw materials of own production are the best for traditional dishes, cooked impeccably. More than excellent service considering that on the day of the epiphany there were many of us spread across the different rooms, however the attentive, vigilant and competent staff never made the diners lack for anything. More than excellent value for money Excellent appetizers, excellent first courses and finally the home-produced grilled meat close the circle together with dairy products for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Heartfelt congratulations
