Pizzeria Ristorante Franco In Galatone

17/10/2025: Very good value for money - a bit cheaper than other restaurants in the historic center and much more generous. Octopus on a bed of chickpea puree to die for (€18). Tender and generously simmered. Friendly and cheerful service, very good red wine by the glass (€5).

15/10/2025: The wine 🍷 is particularly refreshing. The pasta was delicious. If it were up to me how many stars the restaurant should have, I would give it four. It overlooks beautiful stone houses and an impressive church. The food comes to the table quickly. The service wasn't the friendliest, but it did its job. We were greeted with bread and small pastry pretzels, but unfortunately I can't give the ambiance five stars because of the number of cars driving past the outdoor seating. All in all, it wasn't a bad visit.
