Very nice and tasty pizzeria.
The food always looks appealing, is more than tasty and the service is simply friendly, nice, helpful and appealing.
The menu is very appealing and has something for everyone.

Die Pizzeria war wenige Schritte von unserer Unterkunft B&B Casa Benamati entfernt. Es war richtig voll, und obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, haben wir noch 2 Plätze bekommen. Der Service schnell und unaufgeregt. Unsere Pizzen waren super.

At first it is very inconspicuous. The offer is primarily designed for local guests and the adjacent campsite. The food was phenomenally delicious and the service was friendly and entertaining. Even though the restaurant was full, there was great service with relaxed waiting times. Absolutely recommended!

I’ve enjoyed two really nice meals here, so far. The pasta carbonara was finished with raw egg yolk, in the traditional sense (I believe), which was probably the first time I’ve had it that way. A little bit unusual, but still very tasty. I expected the portion to be a little bigger, but I’m guessing that’s a standard size in these parts. The trio of desserts was a real treat, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend that. Had a couple of glasses of the house prosecco, which I thoroughly enjoyed after only having beers thus far, until I awoke with a headache in the small hours, so maybe I better stick to my beers (or drink more water).
Second meal I needed something filling after a big day on the bike, so chose the Dolce Vita pizza and a garden salad. Both were big, delicious and filling. Really liked the pizza, which felt/looked rustic and authentic, and thankfully the table had balsamic vinegar and local EVO oil, plus a salt & pepper grinder. I also tried a Hugo aperitif drink, which was very refreshing, and also an Ichnust non-filtered tap beer which was also great to wash down the pizza. No dessert from here tonight, as I walked up the road 100m to Frantoio’s for a gelato instead 😋
Great service from the staff, and especially from the barman who speaks great English, and had good knowledge of the area. Thanks and hope to see you again before I go.
