Pizzeria Ristorante "Anema e' Core" In Trieste

I went in with a friend for dinner without high expectations, for a quick and undemanding pizza. Honestly we were both very satisfied. Good pizza, zero stomach ache, zero thirst. Excellent spicy oil (the real, homemade one, left to macerate; not the industrial one that tastes like nothing). Nice and efficient young waitress. Cost correct in my opinion: 9 euros for the devil, 2 for the cover charge, 6 euros for the large beer (I think it was a Moretti on tap, or perhaps a Castello).

The food is marvellous!!! One of the best margherita pizza I've ever eaten is here with a wonderful tomato sauce on a light but crunchy and delicious pizza bread. And the antipasti plate was simply perfect. Grilled vegetables with a bit sour taste. Soft mozzarella with balsamic sauce on. And the ham... OMG. Don't even mention the swordfish and eggplant parmegiani. Unforgettable experience it was. BRAVO! We will come back many times.

Nice service and good food - I had the Hungarian pizza which was okay, for dessert I had the chocolate soufflé which was very good as well. There was a restroom available.

One of the best I have eaten in Italy. The tagliata di filetto is a spectacle!

a very authentic italian restaurant. simple and plain restaurant. some locals ate there too. staff was very nice. the food was very good. we can recommend the prosciutto crudo and a diversity of pasta.

Delicious food & friendly staff. Definitely a spot to return to! We have come here in a group of 2 and were lucky to get a table right away. It was late lunch time and fairly busy first. At first sight, I would have passed by this restaurant, but a friend of mine recommended it, so I wanted to give it a try. And I am tremendously happy, I did. The food is amazing, staff is friendly. The dishes were made to order, waiting time was acceptable. The portion size is generous and ingredients are rich and tasteful. The dishes are appealingly arranged and satisfying. Highest quality for very moderate prices. The menu offers primi piatti (first courses) and secondi piatti (mains) with meat or fish as well as pizza, appetizers, sides and salads. All typical dishes can be found and a broad range of preferences is covered (if no dietary requirements apply). Vegetarian selection is rather small, and only sides/salads are vegan, some dishes go without cheese, so lactose-intolerant people may find something. It is a small, family-run business with traditional Italian cuisine. Seating outside is limited, the interior holds more people but is quite narrow spaced. You might be lucky to get a spot walking in, but if you want to make sure you get a spot, making a reservation is highly recommended!

We were looking early for food because we skipped lunch. So too early for most Italian restaurants. But nonetheless we were hungry. This pizzeria looked like the typical tourist trap. But. But the food was great, prices good and - let's be honest - if we go on a short vacation in Italy some cliché is ok. It's a busy street, you get people to look at and can enjoy it with good food and nice wine. Who needs more? Service was friendly and quick. Only real minus might be the toilet. "Cleanness" like in a McDonald's or Starbucks.

Quaint little pizzeria with a soft spot for Diego Maradona. I was satisfied with the quality of the food and drinks.
