Decent pizza, helpful staff, comfortable environment

Avevamo appuntamento alle 20,30 e ci hanno portato le pizze alle 21,40. Non hanno impasti speciali come ai 5 cereali o integrale. Abbiamo ordinato 2 amari e dopo oltre mezz'ora dall'ordine non è arrivato,quindi ci siamo alzati Abbiamo pagato le pizze e siamo andati via.

Excellent pizza. Good service and selection of desserts

By chance we (my wife and I) walked past the open window and only then saw that it was probably a ristorante/pizzeria. After a short search for the entrance around the corner, we ended up in a typical “local restaurant” and literally celebrated everything we ate and drank there. First the bottle of water for €2 and the wine for €6 a bottle. For starters, the beef fillet carpaccio (€8) was shared, next the tagliatelle Frutti du Mare (with cozze, vongole, scampi and gamberino) was enjoyed together, then a pizza pescatora (gamberini, cozze, polpotentakel, baby polpo and sepia rings ). After two hot coffees and two ice-cold limoncellos, our culinary journey at Al Setaccio came to an end to our complete satisfaction. What should definitely be mentioned is the super friendly service staff, who accepted our requests in English and regularly inquired about further requests during our stay! (Not everywhere, of course…). Conclusion: a visit is definitely worth it and if it's just pizza and cola, you'll celebrate it like we did (even if the waiting time can be a bit challenging if the restaurant is full...)! Dolci Vita cannot be rushed!

In una tranquilla cittadina come Turi, è presente questo locale, al quale sono giunto insieme al mio gruppo di inossidabili amici, in base alla segnalazione fornitami da un mio ex collega di lavoro che risiede a Turi e che aveva indicato questo locale soprattutto per la bontà delle pizze. Il locale al nostro arriva si è presentato molto rumoroso con una decisa e marcata presenza di sovraffollamento rispetto alla più elementari indicazioni inerenti la gestione non dico ottimale, ma quanto meno perfettibile degli spazi da destinare alla clientela. Dopo una breve attesa abbiamo individuato un antipasto che sembrava rispondere perfettamente alle nostre aspettative e richieste, solo che la quantità ci è apparsa subito modesta e la qualità di fascia medio bassa. Andati sul piatto forte e cioè le pizze abbiamo per così dire involontariamente effettuato un test sulle proposte presenti e il risultato è stato leggermente superiore alla sufficienza, dato che la stessa limitatezza scontata negli antipasti, era presente nelle materie prime utilizzate per le varie pizze. La sorpresa maggiore è stata a conclusione della serata, e in senso positivo, riguardando l'aspetto economico, dato che la quota per singolo commensale, è paragonabile all'attuale costo di un drink in un qualsiasi bar e qui invece bene o male si è centao. Da rivedere in un giorno infrasettimanale evitando ikl fine settimana.

We took two pizzas, very good: thin and crunchy dough, good seasoning. Friendly staff. Good value for money. The sore points are: -having had to wait almost 40 minutes to get the pizza even though it was 11pm and there were few customers in the restaurant who had already been partially served. -the deafening noise of unidentified machinery in the external room. -allow smoking during dinner. -do not offer, inside the cover, even two olives or two tarallini or two bruschetta, a consolidated custom now in almost all pizzerias and restaurants; with minimal expenditure by the manager, the customer waits with more patience.

Abbiamo preso due pizze, molto buone: pasta sottile e croccante, buon condimento. Personale gentile. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Le note dolenti sono: -aver dovuto aspettare quasi 40 minuti per avere la pizza nonostante fossero le 23 e nel locale ci fossero pochi avventori che erano già stati parzialmente serviti. -il rumore assordante di macchinari non ben identificati nella saletta esterna. -permettere di fumare durante la cena.
