Excellent cozy Italian atmosphere ❤️😊

We decided to stop at Pizzeria Pontafel because it is located very close to the highway exit, making it an incredibly convenient break during our road trip. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming team. The staff was polite and attentive throughout our entire visit. Meals arrived quickly without feeling rushed. The food itself was really good and offered. A huge plus for us was gluten-free pasta options, which can sometimes be hard to find while traveling. As for the logistics, we street parking available nearby, so we didn't have to spend any time searching for a spot. The atmosphere is cozy and much more pleasant than a standard highway rest stop. Overall, it was a great experience with top-notch service that made our journey much better. If you are passing through the area and looking for a quality meal, I highly recommend a stop here.

Good ratio price performance. Lasagna was too small portion though, spaghetti too salted, but we were hungry. And I don't like Italians to charge table cover. It's from 1€ and more per person.

The pizza was simply fantastic 😍! The staff were also very friendly and often came by to ask how it was.

Very nice homely atmosphere for foreign tourists. I have been here with my family twice and we will be back. The food is good, especially the "burger". Stay original and keep going.

We visited twice, both times for lunch. Since the pizzeria is located right on the Alpe Adria Cycle Route, it's always very busy at lunchtime. And even though they assume that most tourists only come once, they make a lot of effort. The service, in particular, was incredibly friendly on our visits.
