The pizza is fabulous, among the best in Martina Franca: light dough, top-quality ingredients, and truly successful pairings. The pizza tasting is also highly recommended, ideal for trying multiple flavors and enjoying a complete experience. If you want to play it safe and eat a top-quality pizza, this is the place to go.

Another hit from @forchette.in.viaggio...always on the hunt for good food in a refined setting. This time we're in Martina Franca, in the heart of the Itria Valley, and in its historic center we discovered this real gem...it's called Pomodoro e Basilico. A tiny space (about fifteen seats) but a true gem set in stone...a truly intimate atmosphere, definitely worth a visit if you want to make an impression, because everything here is top-notch, from the ambiance to the attention to detail, from the furnishings to the high-quality food, and, last but not least, the service...here you truly feel pampered, with special attention to the customer, a constant presence without ever being intrusive. The pizzas are truly fabulous...the photos only partially convey the taste, the harmonious flavor of the various ingredients, the quality of the raw materials used (many Slow Food Presidia and DOP products used and assembled to perfection), and the dough, incredibly light with a high, very airy crust, synonymous with obsessive attention to the flours used and the leavening processes. The price is a little above the local average, but we assure you that the quality/price ratio is absolutely fair. We also tried one of their desserts recommended by the waiter (a chocolate tart with fiordilatte ice cream) accompanied by an excellent Amaro Mantovani. Save this place because if you're in Puglia, and particularly in the Itria Valley, you absolutely must visit.

It was a truly excellent experience in every way. Tacos with mortadella and stracciatella to start... truly irresistible, and the pizzas were spectacular: light dough and top-quality ingredients. A huge plus also goes to the service: the waiter was extremely professional, kind, and always attentive to every detail. The location is simply stunning, perfect for a relaxing and, I'd even say, romantic evening, away from the chaos and ideal for enjoying dinner in complete tranquility. No waiting, well-organized service, and perfect timing between courses. To conclude, an incredible dessert that ended the evening in the best possible way. We'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
