Pizzeria Pomodoro e Basilico In Martina franca

Excellent pizza. The version with nduja is the best pizza I've ever had. A bonus for accommodating our 10-person group without a reservation during the ongoing festival in Martina Franca.

What sets all the good pizzas you can eat in Italy apart is the quality of the dough and the freshness of the ingredients. At Pomodoro and Basilico, they're very close to perfection. The dough is simply incredible!! The best pizza we've ever eaten in Puglia. We could almost call it haute cuisine (Gourmet level in Italy) if that title existed for pizzeria restaurants. The pizzas chosen were the Picante and the Santorella. The meal begins with a Bruschetta (pizza dough, which here is brioche-style). It's offered by the restaurant owner. Its quality is a foreshadowing of what's to come :-) The Primitivo wine is excellent. As for the ambiance, it's distilled by a very light, jazzy vibe (Diana Krall, Melodie Garbot, Laura Figy, etc.). The servers are attentive and kind, matching the food they serve. The desserts are refined and delicious (the one with brioche, Straciatella, and hazelnuts is just as good as any other French pastry). We won't be able to go to another pizza place when we stop by Martina Franca. Our meal was a must!

Bruschetta offered too good. Brioche pizza dough!!!! Delicious Primitivo and Spritz Pizza Piccantella e Santorella. Incredibly good pizza dough. Mortadella full my pizza and mozzarella underneath. Gourmet desserts brioche stracciatella e hazelnuts. Another chocolate ice cream panna e biscuit. Absolutely ADORABLE service. It's the Mamma who does all this admirably🙏 VIVA Tomato e Basilico, VIVA LE PUGLIA e VIVA L’ITALIA 💚🤍❤️

For the perfect pizza, this is the absolute place to be! I don't eat cheese, and yet they whipped up the perfect pizza for me using the purest ingredients! And the service is super friendly.

Vino a cenar y fue fantástico. Nunca antes había comido pizza como esta y será difícil volver a casa y volver a la pizza que tenemos allí, que podría agregar que no es tan malo. Mi esposa y yo compartimos pizza La Grande Bellezza. Primero se cocinó la base y luego se colocó el producto fresco para esta pizza en la base y se sirvió. El vino que tuvimos fue el vino de la casa de la zona y un aperitivo gratuito de pan frito con aceite de oliva y un tomate cherry fue un buen entrante.

Questa pizzeria ha vari punti di forza, per cui ci ritornerei io stesso e lo consiglio agli altri viaggiatori: anzitutto la location, facilmente accessibile, sita prio nel centro di Martina Franca, credo sia ideale per le coppie sia per l'atmosfera interna sia per la qualità del servizio; infine lo consiglio per la qualità della pizza, impasto eccellente e prodotti di prima scelta.
