28/02/2026: A beautiful wine chalet at the foot of Mount Etna. Perfectly located for trips to southern Sicily. The family who runs it and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. A highlight for me was that Pope John Paul II was also here in 1990 and praised the wine and the family. I will definitely come back – a wonderful place to relax and enjoy myself.

24/02/2026: We had lunch on Sunday 22 February, we were in Tayanche with children, high quality food and I would like to point out that we are vegan and we ate very well, pasta with Sicilian pesto without cheese, tagliatelle with mushrooms, trio of mushrooms, colorful salad, all delicious and very digestible,
