17/02/2026: During a quick visit to the beautiful city of Padua, this restaurant located along the river was recommended to us. The restaurant is well-decorated, with a beautiful window overlooking the river. The restrooms were spotless, despite our late reservation. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the service was a bit slow, but we had lunch the day after Valentine's Day, after a busy evening, so this review isn't indicative of the standard.
As for the food, our choices met our expectations. Prices are clearly highlighted on the menu. The portions are reasonable, not overly generous, but sufficient for a decent meal.
We ordered two appetizers for four of us to share: Venetian-style chicken in saor (photo 1) and pizzaiola-style fried burrata (photo 2), both excellent. The chicken was truly delicate and tasty, and the burrata was beautifully fried.
For the main course: two braised beef dishes on soft polenta (photo 3), a sliced beef (photo 4), and a sausage and cabbage pie with Morlacco cheese (photo 5), the latter actually found among the first courses. All the choices met our expectations: the braised beef was incredibly tender.
To top it off, two tiramisu del nonno and some cream-filled biscuits. Total cost with bread, service charge, and four bottles of water: €157.50.
10/02/2026: Restaurant specializing in meat and fish, practically in the center of Padua, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, I really appreciated their gratinated scallops and beetroot gnocchi with creamed cod
