I was there a few days ago, I ate a salad and some fried mozzarella, all good. The focaccia offered to accompany the salad was much appreciated.

01/06/2025: Excellent location for those who want to visit Etna, halfway between the state road and Piazzale Provenzana which is where you can arrive by car before climbing the volcano (on foot, with guides or with a 4x4 tour). At the refuge you can also sleep or just have a meal, they have simple but good dishes. Very convenient parking next to and in front of the restaurant. Average prices.
