Cool pizzas and wine!! Would really recommend!!

Historic pizzeria in Ancona. It is located in a secluded street in the historic center, far from the noise of the main street. The place is quite spartan, frequented mainly by Ancona residents, it offers a menu of pizzas, first courses and second courses. The service is a bit lacking. The experience was positive (we ate the best French fries ever... they cut and prepare them themselves... not greasy at all) and partly negative (the pizza that arrived was half burnt underneath, unpleasant and bitter soap)

The best pizza by the slice in Ancona. Normal prices, courtesy, the girls are kind and attentive, Paola even advises you on how to reheat the pizza if you take it home: in a pan, on a low flame, under a lid. Corso Mazzini is quiet at that point and eating it at the tables outside is a no-brainer. The rest of the menu, which is served at lunch, is also not bad. Institution.

I always eat pizza al taglio with baked potatoes that I love... it's delicious, crumbly and tasty. Had an aperitif with friends sitting at the table, with slices of pizza and beer and coke... great price too!!

Kindness and hospitality are fundamental

Found it by chance and thought it was very good. Currently there are only the dishes as on the menu. Mainly 🍕 pizza. It seems like a "pick-up pizzeria" but you get very tasty food. Had 5 round pizzas and a salad with chicken strips. This was very large and had no dressing, but that's how it is in Italy. Paid just under 85 euros for 6 people. Price performance top 👍

We had a very good dinner at Pizzeria Paola in Ancona! The pizza was delicious—crispy just the way my husband likes it. We arrived right at 7 PM when they supposedly open, but were asked to come back in 15 minutes. By the time we returned, the place was already almost full—clearly a popular local spot! We tried a pizza with potatoes and spinach. It was tasty, though we expected a bit more potato and less spinach. A highlight was the half-liter of house wine for just €4—great value! The atmosphere was very warm and local, with people greeting each other like regulars. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for authentic, local vibes and good pizza in Ancona.

Amazing pizza at reasonable prices. staff very friendly and place has a relaxed feeling to it.

Very fresh fish, excellent tagliolini

Pizza buona, presa d’asporto. Purtroppo, una volta arrivato a casa ho visto che il gusto era diverso da quella che avevo ordinato (avevo pagato un supplemento per l’aggiunta di un ingrediente extra, che però non è stato messo). Possibile che nonostante il cliente paghi (e neanche poco!), succedano queste cose?
