The pizza is good, but the prices are a bit high and the place is small.

It's a tiny pizzeria, mostly for takeout, with just a few tables on site, and very basic. The pizza is Lilliputian in size! The "large" one is comparable to a Baby pizza at other pizzerias, and the price tends to be lower than a "regular" pizza, though I wouldn't call it convenient. The wait times are definitely longer than expected. The pizza is unusual; I tried it about ten years ago and remembered it being good, but I went back yesterday (October 2025) and found it less good. The dough isn't very well-leavened, a bit like an undercooked piadina (which may not be a bad thing), but it's still easy to digest. The cheese, in my opinion, isn't mozzarella. However, I found it very salty (which kept me waking up in the middle of the night looking for water) and very greasy.

In this historic setting, you can enjoy delicious pizzas of all kinds, made with a recipe unlike the more well-known ones. They're small or very small (compared to "normal" pizzas) and baked in metal molds, using wood-fired ovens. The result is a special product that clearly stands the test of time. The waiting time (about an hour) speaks volumes about Orsucci's popularity, synonymous with guaranteed quality and tradition. You can also find classic carbonated drinks and beers of various types and sizes. Pizza is enjoyed under the porticoes at tables and chairs almost opposite the tram stop.

Pizzeria Orsucci in Padua is a small and well-kept place.
A historic pizzeria in Padua since 1922.
The pizza is unique, delicious, and special.
The original shape attracts lovers of this dish.
The restaurant has 3-5 comfortable tables under and along the porticoes.
Prices are slightly higher than the competition, but the historic location and location certainly make the price go up.
In addition to pizza, they also sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
There is no parking.

A historic Paduan pizzeria since 1922, famous for its thin-crust Tuscan pizza and authentic flavor. A simple and spartan place, often crowded but with old-world charm. Excellent for a quick meal or takeout, with fair prices and consistent quality.
