The pizza is truly excellent: light, easy to digest, and fully commendable with the best in Naples. The quality remains top-notch.
The price, however, is decidedly high and not entirely justified, except for a restaurant that also caters to tourists seeking an experience "worthy of sharing."
The €3 cover charge per person is less understandable, a choice that doesn't quite fit with the tradition and authentic spirit of La Sanità.

Yes, I went there as soon as I arrived in Naples. It was a pizzeria recommended in a guide, so I trusted it. Very good pizza and spectacular appetizers.
We then returned one evening for dinner, but you couldn't reserve and the wait was long, so we decided to get takeout from them, but from the place next door. In the end, they seated us in the place where they prepare takeout pizzas. The pizza was good, really, nothing to complain about, but in this case, everything was less than perfect. The cutlery was dirty, and we were forced to pay in cash, whereas in the restaurant, which is connected to the takeout, you can also pay by card.

Wow, it's all right!?!?! Let's start with the pizza dough, as you can see in the photo, treated terribly... one of the most popular pizzerias in the city in a place like the Sanità neighborhood, which is full of filth everywhere, but then a margherita costs €12, a croquette €5, are you out of your mind? The waiter in front of me first petted a dog and then started topping a pizza at the next table... disappointing is an understatement... pizza is the food of the people, a margherita can't cost that much and the rest after that...

One of the best pizzerias in Naples, with the right mix of tradition and innovation. The O'Ragù filling is my favorite pizza. I also recommend a table on the internal portico; it reminds me of a 19th-century Neapolitan painting. The service is fast, and the waiters are very kind and friendly.
In short, what more can I say? Simply one of the best pizzerias in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
I recommend everyone visit at least once in their life!

Tourist trap. A Margherita costs €12 (at Sorbillo €7). Limited selection, prices range from €12 to €18. Cover charge is €3 per person. Typical Neapolitan dough, but hard to digest.
Fried pizza is very large and tasty, with a decent level of frying. The ingredients are very good, but there are cheaper options for the same quality.

I guess I was lucky and was seated whenever I arrived at the time of my reservation. I did book outside peak hours which was deliberate as I knew more chance that I’d get a table. For Naples it probably is expensive, but it’s become quite famous so that’s to be expected. For me the food and the really nice garden justified the price, and it’s still way cheaper than I’d pay at home. I had diavola (against the waiters recommendation which seemed to surprise him 😂) and it really was delicious with an incredible texture. I even ate most of the crust which I never do. Tomato salad was really good and the house red was perfect, although at 10 euros it was very expensive for Naples.
I’d absolutely go back but would always choose to go off peak for a more chill experience.
