We went to this place on Saturday with friends, the pizzas were good, the service was fast and I would have given 5 stars if not for one inconvenience. I ordered a medium draft beer and instead I was served a glass with little beer and all foam. pointed out to the waiter, before leaving I reported it to the manager who harshly replied that they are filled up to the point indicated on the glass. It doesn't seem like the best way to treat customers by making them look like liars instead of trying not to repeat what happened

A pochi chilometri da Lecce qui una pizzeria che si contende il podio delle migliori salentine. La pizza non delude, è senz'altro da promuovere, Il Cupppo napoletano meno gustoso e con pasta scotta. Dessert che non si sbaglia se si opta per un buon spumone salentino. I prezzi sono tuttavia elevati, per dire come le migliori pizzerie di Roma (....e d'Italia) solo che qui non siamo a Roma. Accetto anche un costo per il coperto ma non mi puoi dare una tovaglietta di carta, un tovagliolino da bar e delle posate che trovi solo nei negozi cinesi. Personale gentile e servizio rapido ma come detto prezzo elevato per il contesto e per delle cose rivedibili. Il nostro conto: Un Cuoppo ( € 14) una pizza Napoletana (€ 10) uno spumone (€ 6) una birra Lowenbrau (€ 5.50) un'acqua minerale (€ 2,50) una grappa barricata (€ 3,50) e due coperti (€ 4) per un totale di € 45,50.

Impasto leggero, buon connubio di sapori, personale cortese, servizio ottimo. Peccato che sotto fosse bruciacchiata, sicuramente è dipeso dalla temperatura del forno troppo alta (erano le prime). Comunque la consiglio. Ci ritornerò.

They were outdoors in the summer. The place is very suggestive and the pizza is excellent. The computerized system for ordering pizzas and communicating with the staff is cutting edge. It's worth it.

100% satisfied! Delicious and tasty pizzas made with a very digestible and well-leavened dough. Impeccable and above all fast service even though we ate on a Sunday evening and the place was full. Friendly and empathetic staff. Cozy, clean and well-maintained location. Optimal! It deserves all 5 stars

Excellent pizza, light and super digestible dough. One of the best pizzas eaten in Salento. Fast service and very helpful waiters. Even though the place was full, there was no waiting. Super recommended.

21/01/2025: I had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday. I have to say it was a truly memorable experience. The restaurant is located in an enchanting position, a stone's throw from the sea, with a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and professional, offering impeccable service. The menu is full of delicious options, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried almost all the starters together with my girlfriend: a riot of truly succulent flavors and the quality of the fish was excellent. As a first course we had a seafood carbonara and ravioli filled with purple potatoes with fish sauce, a culinary surprise in every bite, all accompanied by two glasses of white and rosé wine recommended by the house. We concluded lunch with a tiramisu and an almond paste tart filled with chocolate: the first (served inside a meringue), which personally didn't make me crazy, I would have simply added one as an accompaniment. The second course was served on a coulis of wild berries and was simply delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and with attention to the smallest details, with a Lecce stone ceiling that adds a touch of authenticity. It is the ideal place for a special dinner or to celebrate an important occasion, but also just to indulge in a quiet and elegant meal. In summary, the Underground Fish Restaurant is a great choice for those looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to go back!
13/01/2025: Castro is wonderful, both the town and the sea. This restaurant was a surprise. Very nice inside, with outdoor seating. We stayed on January 3rd. We only ate a seafood salad which was served as an appetizer with 1 glass of wine. A little expensive €25 out of season, but the location is worth it. I can't imagine the prices in season 😊

05/11/2024: Very nice location! Clean and modern. The hospitality was very pleasant. The food is of very good quality. Taste and freshness in the top league. We had starters, main courses and dessert. Everything excellent.
