We had the opportunity to have dinner and then lunch at Modesto. The service was friendly, the food excellent, and the attention to detail was top notch. We had a wonderful time, both at a table of 13 and as a group of four. Highly recommended. I recommend trying the pistachio and guanciale candies. A superb first course.

A culinary highlight in Trieste! The Modesto City completely won us over with its impressive cuisine. We'd particularly like to highlight the pizza selection, which leaves nothing to be desired. Each pizza is a small work of art – the dough is thin and crispy, the toppings fresh and high-quality. We tried several different pizzas and loved every single one. The pasta with "hambas," or shrimp, is also an absolute must. The pasta is perfectly cooked al dente, and the pasta with shrimp was simply heavenly. The sauce was wonderfully balanced, and the shrimp were fresh and juicy. A dish you won't soon forget. The service was attentive, the ambiance is very inviting, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Modesto City and will definitely return on our next visit to Trieste. Five out of five stars!

Great restaurant! We were afraid of falling into a tourist trap (being French), but the pasta is delicious—real pasta carbonara—and it's not too expensive. 4 stars, not 5 because we were a little disappointed with the tiramisu (foam not frothy/light enough, coffee quite bitter), but the biscuits were well soaked. Don't hesitate!

Been there twice Pizza and salad were very good the second time 💯 Pasta was rather average 😌 A place for antipasti or pizza, we think :) Average prices but very good quality 👍🏼

When I go to Trieste I stop for a good Neapolitan pizza, where I can find first and second courses. In the summer, along the avenue you can have lunch outside, which is very nice.

Lovely outdoor area in a less touristy outdoor promenade. Food was delicious. Recommend the pistachio ravioli. Service was great.

I'm really surprised by the pizzas served at this restaurant. Unconventional flavors, but truly excellent. If you're looking for a break from the classics, you've come to the right place.
