Great restaurant! We were afraid of falling into a tourist trap (being French), but the pasta is delicious—real pasta carbonara—and it's not too expensive. 4 stars, not 5 because we were a little disappointed with the tiramisu (foam not frothy/light enough, coffee quite bitter), but the biscuits were well soaked. Don't hesitate!

Been there twice Pizza and salad were very good the second time 💯 Pasta was rather average 😌 A place for antipasti or pizza, we think :) Average prices but very good quality 👍🏼

When I go to Trieste I stop for a good Neapolitan pizza, where I can find first and second courses. In the summer, along the avenue you can have lunch outside, which is very nice.

Lovely outdoor area in a less touristy outdoor promenade. Food was delicious. Recommend the pistachio ravioli. Service was great.

We arrived just before closing time. We had delicious pizza, a great beer, and the service was fantastic. I recommend it to everyone! The best pizza in town!

We stop by for a midnight pizza. We waited less than 10 minutes and the pizza was really delicious. Friendly staff, cool place. We didn’t sit inside though cause we took that pizzas to go and went to park so I can’t give you insight of that. However the whole experience felt good and relaxed.

Pizzeria just steps from the Maggiore Hospital, on a side street off Viale XX Settembre, with the option of eating inside (air-conditioned) or in the outdoor garden. They serve Neapolitan pizza, with thick crusts, generously topped, and easy to digest. The staff at the counter and at the tables are friendly and attentive. Recommended!

22/08/2025: Great place for a quick lunch. Very quaint place, excellent food, and very friendly staff. Excellent beer. Prices are reasonable.
20/08/2025: Buffet L'Approdo is an ideal stop for those who want to enjoy authentic Trieste cuisine. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the staff is friendly. The typical dishes, such as sardines, goulash, creamed cod, and warm cooked ham with horseradish, are excellent. Generous portions and fair prices. An authentic restaurant well worth a visit.
