27/07/2025: Grottino has been around forever. I don't know if I'm older or he's older, but since I was a kid, when pizza was just pizza (and didn't pretend to be a gourmet experience), he was there. And it's one of the landmarks in a changing downtown area, like the Pomposa fountain or the Collegio porticoes. As far back as anyone can remember, real pizzerias have always had a good seafood selection, and finally we said: let's do it! Seafood salad as an appetizer, thankfully split in two because a single portion is more than enough for two. Delicious seafood risotto, excellent shrimp and calamari skewers. Sorry, Grottino, for decades I've always just had pizza (which, by the way, has never disappointed).
