Pizzeria Mezza Luna di D'Apolito Michele In San giovanni rotondo

If you're looking for a simple evening out but still want a good slice of pizza, I highly recommend trying Michele's pizza. The owner is gruff, but only on the surface. I went there a few nights ago while I was in the beautiful San Giovanni Rotondo, and we took the opportunity to order some and eat it at my in-laws' house. My favorite is the paesana, but the other flavors are also good, like the spicy salami one. The panzerotti are excellent, and the "cavicione" is delicious, especially if made with local onions (definitely worth trying). Prices are fair and in line with the local average. They've become a regular stop for me every time I'm in Puglia. Well done!
