The place is small but clean and tidy. The pizzas and farinata are truly excellent. The only drawback is that parking is difficult to find, but it's worth it.

It's well known all over the world that you can eat good pizza in Italy. But there are pizzerias that thrive on the creativity of their owners. Pizza dough with a mix of cereals or ash is unusual...but here it's baked into a delicious dish. Once in La Spezia, you have to (!) eat pizza here. The icing on the cake is, of course, the charming and very knowledgeable service from a young lady. Keep up the good work!

Among the best I have ever had! We walked in without reservation right when they opened and got a table. When dining later I might recommend prior booking! :) Pizza was so yummy, great prices, and the staff was very friendly! Also, I think Jennifer Lawrence was our waitress 🤔

11/04/2026: A great pizzeria just outside Sarzana where you can enjoy good pizza and delicious panuozzi, filled with a wide variety of fillings and made with quality ingredients. The panigacci and testaroli, with their rich toppings, are also worth a try. Recommended.
08/04/2026: We had two seafood risottos and two mussels marinara for lunch, both excellent. One evening, two very good pizzas. The atmosphere is pleasant, with good parking. The price is reasonable.

I Castagni

12/03/2026: A trattoria of a kind that's becoming increasingly rare. Nestled in the Apennine mountains, near an old partisan road, they serve generous portions of top-quality meat (tagliata) with gratinated potatoes (€20), preceded by a selection of sracchino appetizers with grilled vegetables, salami, ham, and baked Ligurian stracchino cheese, all accompanied by wonderful focaccia. The simple decor is more than compensated for by the friendly owner. A truly worthwhile and refreshing escape from the coast.
14/02/2026: Everything was excellent, fresh products, dishes carefully prepared and made with love.
