17/11/2024: What can I say, returned with the new management, the photos speak for themselves. Quality of the raw material, excellent. Very good chef, excellent service and welcome! Quality, quantity and price are the right combination.

14/11/2024: I passed by Abetone during a business trip. I arrive at the restaurant at lunchtime. I am greeted by the man who introduces himself as the manager (from what I understand he is the new manager of the place). He explains to me that the restaurant reopened a few days ago and that they are completing preparations for the upcoming winter season. The staff is still minimal, basically there is the manager and the cook. At the moment I'm the only diner. The room is very pretty with a huge and characteristic fireplace in the center which will be lit on the coldest and snowiest nights to also create ambience. I sit at a table overlooking a large window with a view of the mountains. I am offered a rich platter of mixed cold cuts and cheeses and then as a first course a plate of "bottoni" (a stuffed pasta like ravioli) filled with deer meat and white mushroom sauce. All very good, especially the buttons which I think are truly spot on in terms of flavours. Complete with water and correct coffee: 44 euros. Congratulations, I hope to have the opportunity to return, perhaps with snow to have even more atmosphere.
