Pizzeria LIOLÁ In Verona

We ordered caponata, maccheroni alla norma & lasagna, all great! Very friendly staff!

We choose stuffed calamari and raviolli with shrimps, patate fritte + house wine and pannacotta. For me, the calamari was good, but different than expected (only tried greek ones) + portions not so generous. My wife loved her raviolli (still small portion for me but enough for her). The desert was very good. All in all, nice place (but table too small for 4 persons), with prices in line with most of the restaurant we visited in Taormina. It worths a visit.

My mother and I had dinner there on a rainy evening. The atmosphere was intimate, very warm and almost family-like. The pasta with eggplant was absolutely delicious — I would recommend it to everyone.

Food is generally good but it’s a bit pricy compared with Italian restaurants in general. One thing we got surprised is they did charge for bread and something for totally 9 euro for 2 persons, which is not normal in EU. Most of restaurants in this town share the similar price, normally a main course costs 24 euro - 30 euro, and a non-alcoholic drink costs 5 euro+. Highly suggested assorted bread with different toppings and macaroni. For Octopus, we would say it’s a bit below our expectations but it’s okay.

Absolutely delicious! We chose Liola Osteria because of its reviews and weren’t disappointed. Lovely plump oysters to start that are sourced just 40km away. Then we shared the special stuffed squid which was really interesting and tasty. I had the lasagne which was spot on. My partner had the baked fish gratin with pistachio- Ahmazing. But the best dish of all (in my opinion) was our friend’s linguine with clams, king prawns and pistachio and orange sauce. Omg! So yummy and great sized portions. A little pricier than our usual budget but so worth it.

We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of a Taormina resident. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered lasagna and pasta with shrimp, pistachio, and orange. The food was delicious. For dessert, of course, the classic tiramisu. When the staff learned it was my birthday, they served it to me with a candle and Prosecco while singing "Happy Birthday!" I thought it was very nice; they kept asking if everything was okay and if I liked it. I highly recommend it for the atmosphere, the food, and the friendly people who work there.

One of the best place where you can eat fine sea food dishes and fresh fish. Desert was fantastic, too. I think I had eaten the best bruschettas in my life.

This was my first time in Italy. I ate EVERYWHERE in Taormina. This hands down was my favorite restaurant. This is a true small family run restaurant. They had the best customer service and were so loving. I felt like I had a true connection with everyone there. I highly suggest you stop by for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You should try the signature linguini, it’s amazing.
