Good pizza, but the service is forgettable!

Let's start by saying that this pizzeria is located in the heart of Naples' historic center, just steps from San Gregorio Armenio, an almost unique place with a tuff stone wall. There are many pizza options, but I preferred a classic, the Capricciosa. What can I say? It was a Picasso painting, made by a pizza chef with a history behind him, the charming Gaetano. Light dough, top-quality ingredients, soft, and to tell the truth, once I finished, I felt dissatisfied, not with the goodness, but with the lightness and perfection. My thoughts were making me want to eat another, but that's okay. Still, one of the best pizzas I've eaten in my humble career as a true Neapolitan! Kudos to the entrepreneurial owner who knew how to choose both the staff and the quality of the ingredients! I highly recommend it, especially to anyone visiting Naples' historic center, especially to avoid unnecessary bathing.

We had vouchers for a Margherita pizza with a drink or water included with the tour of the Naples Underground, but some of us ordered other pizzas, and I don't think we were treated very well. As if the vouchers weren't worth what they advertised. We felt a bit cheated. And the pizzas aren't exactly cheap compared to other places.

We arrived by chance after the guided tour of Underground Naples, since it had a special offer with the ticket, so I'd say it was a nice surprise. The pizza was really good: thin, well-topped with excellent tomato sauce and mozzarella, with a high, soft crust. The long leavening process is evident, as it's quickly digestible. After the pizza, we had tiramisu, obviously homemade, unusual, but very good. The location is very nice; the only flaws are the table layout, because the draft beer dispenser is practically stuck to a table, while the display refrigerators are also very close to the tables, and when the waiters had to collect drinks, the cool air escaped, giving you a nice feeling of freshness. Overall, a great experience. Prices are above average, but I recommend it.

Had unscheduled lunch for 10 people Pizza may be slightly more expensive, however I totally get it due to the location. Pizza was exceptional. The only bother - drinks were very expensive - 6 euros for a small bottle of soft drink (we shared). Otherwise would give 5 stars :)

The most delicious pizza we ate in Naples. Lots of toppings, fast. Inside is clean, cozy. I recommend.

Had lunch here after an excellent Underground Naples tour on the guide's recommendation. So good! Lovely warm service by the team especially the chef himself who showed us how he makes the pizzas. We had the Vesuvio and another mushroom one. The grilled vegetables were also delicious. Thank you!

I returned after 10 years and the quality of the pizza hasn't changed. The staff is top notch.

Good pizza, but slow service. Be careful about the special offer for a tour of Underground Naples. Prices are high compared to other restaurants in the area.
