Fabulous Sunday lunch, I recommend it

A small restaurant with an open kitchen, welcoming but not very well-maintained. The experience doesn't start off well: on the table we immediately find "San Carlo" breadsticks and stale bread served in a wicker basket, along with hard plastic plates that aren't perfectly clean. The first impression, therefore, isn't the best. Ordering via the QR code menu isn't very intuitive. We chose hot and cold appetizers, which were served quickly but with some confusion. Next came the first and second courses. The food is undoubtedly the restaurant's true strength: everything is very good, the fish fresh and well-cooked. The bill, however, is decidedly steep, well above average. Before charging such high prices, the service needs to be improved, which, in its current state, doesn't justify such a high price.

We had a delicious meal in a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. The chef is fantastic. Not cheap, but highly recommended in Taranto.

Found this place for lunch. Amazing food, the taste was absolutely fantastic. Our server was lovely and very helpful, just be aware you may need to use a translator. Great setting and decor.

As a Taranto native, I can say this is the restaurant that truly represents us! An authentic experience, where every dish reflects the true flavor of our land. I tried the roasted octopus on a bed of potatoes, the peppered Taranto mussels (the only one in Taranto), and the simply superb linguine with clams. Everything is fresh, cooked with love and skill. Super-fresh ingredients, generous portions, excellent flavor. I've tried many restaurants in Taranto, but this is one of those that stays with you. It's truly worth it.
