Maybe we had an unlucky evening. Courgette flowers hot on the outside and frozen on the inside; on pizzas a kind of melted cheese described as mozzarella. I prefer other places, thanks anyway.

A place that is part of a chain, all called La Romantica. Run by people from Campania, there's no question about the pizza, it's truly excellent. Prices normal.

Ristorante da Giovannino

09/08/2024: Giovannino is a free-range restaurant with a centenary history along the road that climbs from Assisi towards Gualdo Tadino. A rich menu, lots of good stuff, generous portions, very affordable prices, welcomes a mix of humanity ranging from the foreign tourist to the local inhabitant. Absolutely adorable. To be reviewed not with stars, but with hearts. And in that case, five wouldn't be enough.
07/08/2024: We ate last night in this restaurant and I must say that the dishes were really of excellent quality, good service at the table, a little confusion upon arrival, not having booked, they told us to wait at least an hour but in 15 minutes a table became free, they said that everything was booked but honestly we had several empty tables around so everything else was fine, even the bill.

03/08/2024: We went to eat at Sglú today, gnocchi with prawns and chopped pistachios, fried fish and appetizers. Everything very fresh, prepared with dedication and love. The supermarket is well stocked and represents a point of reference for celiacs in the area. We will definitely be back.
