Excellent venue, helpful staff, knowledgeable in explaining the dishes and wines. The food and preparation excite curiosity and taste. We'll definitely be back.

I read a lot of negative reviews... I don't understand... I went once for a spelt pizza to eat at home... I have to say it was delicious then I went back for dinner with my husband they recommended something off the menu I have to say I was very happy because finally something different I won't say what it was because I'll leave it to those who want to go to find out

La Forbice in Velletri confirms itself as a restaurant that works with technique, high-quality ingredients, and clear ideas in the kitchen. Today I had lunch with friends and our children. Quick service, a pleasant atmosphere, and attentive management.
The appetizers are carefully crafted and well-prepared, and you can taste the expertise of those who know the product. The first courses maintain the same high standards, with clean flavors and precise cooking.
The meat deserves a special mention. The picanha is tender and flavorful. The Rubia Gallega is one of the best I've tasted in recent times, cooked to perfection, juicy, and with significant marbling.
The desserts are all homemade, well-executed, and never banal.
I'll be back for the pizza, which I imagine will be of the same high quality. This place is worth a visit and demonstrates the serious work behind every dish.

We visited La Forbice restaurant and had a very positive overall experience. The place is truly beautiful, with meticulous attention to detail and, above all, clean, which is immediately apparent as soon as you enter. The staff is helpful, attentive, and friendly, always ready to offer advice and satisfy any request with professionalism.
The meat was excellent, well-cooked, and of high quality—one of the restaurant's strong points. Overall, I found everything very pleasant, from the atmosphere to the service.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming place to eat well!

Some friends from Velletra recommended this place to us.
I must say that as soon as you enter, you're greeted by a cinema-style curtain, which is anything but easy to get through 😂
Aside from this picturesque detail... the place appears very spartan and poorly maintained.
It's the first thing that catches your eye, besides the fact that it was packed...
The bathrooms, unfortunately, are dilapidated, like the rest of the lard and the fixtures. Door handles are almost dangling and not screwed down properly in the bathrooms... a shame.
Let's move on to the staff and the food.
Friendly staff despite the crowds...
The menu is rich in many options... pizzas of all kinds... sandwiches, pasta, everything!
The entire menu is also AIC certified.
Kudos to the organization and selection.
You have to wait a bit, but with all the variety and options, unfortunately, it's inevitable...
I choose meat since I'm a meat lover.
Good tartare... then we move on to the Angus picanha (or so I've been told).
Unfortunately, it was raw... Now, I eat raw meat (tartare), but the picanha was too raw. The fat couldn't even be cut with a knife. Also because it was cut too thick for the cooking method it received. While cutting it, the guy dropped at least 3-4 pieces on the table (not the usual guy who goes around the tables, but someone else...).
It's not the first time I've eaten picanha "rare," you can't say "rare," because the fat wasn't even warm, it was white.
It's okay to cook it three times... but the last one was perhaps too quick, I don't know... basically, it was inedible and uncuttable.
Unfortunately, I didn't send the dish back because I saw the place was packed and I usually don't like ricotta-cured meat...
But we left all the fat... which is one of the best things about picanha.
Thinking it was a problem that only happened to us, I also looked at the nearby tables and I have to say that the cooking was the same, with the same result. At the other tables, they left all the fat and even the meat...
It's not that I don't like raw meat, because seriously, I love it... but uncooked fat, even if "lean," can't be served like that, for a cut where you "have to eat that too."
Then, watching videos on Google, I saw a picanha being sliced swordfish. It was cooked properly, but the fat wasn't white like it was taken out of the fridge. So, I think there was a problem...
I have to give it 3 stars for the cooking of the meat and the place, which is truly rundown (indecent bathrooms...).
I'll be back because the pizza was good, I want to try the sandwiches, and I'm curious about the platters, which look very inviting.
As well as trying other cuts of meat.
Prices are okay!
Selection of bitters and spirits worthy of praise.
