Pizzeria La Forbice In Velletri

After the basketball game, which Velletri Basket won, they recommended pizza at La Forbice Pizzeria. We booked a table for two, as we were 500 meters away from the restaurant, but lazy as we are, we took the car. We were rightly punished for finding parking after driving around several times. Fried specials, excellent and plentiful pizza, friendly and super-fast staff, cozy, heated but packed place... BECAUSE THEY MAKE PIZZA REALLY GOOD!!!!! Total €28!!!!!! In my reviews I always write: This is my version and everyone sees things differently. You have to try it and believe it.

I found it by chance! And I must say that sometimes chance is a wonderful surprise! Let's talk about the place right away... walking in and feeling at home is truly unique... looking around and seeing the table... eating in peace... and having a calm conversation!... They are attentive and attentive to customer satisfaction! Their dishes are prepared with care and are truly excellent!! Quality and price... I highly recommend this place!

Back after several years. Key points: The €15 fixed menu on Sunday was truly plentiful and excellent. Specifically, I ordered lasagna (and I'm very critical when it comes to lasagna, but it was truly good and plentiful), stew, and potatoes, without realizing the size of the portions. Nevertheless, I finished everything with gusto, because it was truly delicious. The only flaw was the supplì (ordered separately, not from the fixed menu): they were cold and, in any case, not exceptional (I remember well how they made them a few years ago, since we always loved them, and something has certainly changed). However, no big deal, you can't always be perfect in everything. We also ordered grilled chicken breast, cutlet, and fries, and it was all very good. Price: for three of us, including drinks, coffee, and ice cream, €60 total! Since we left really full and satisfied, it seems like a very fair price, especially on a Sunday. Parking: that's a sore point, but it's not due to the restaurant itself. Unfortunately, the area is well known for its scarcity and constant parking, at any time of day or night. Like almost all of Velletri. In any case, a quick stroll after a delicious meal is a good thing. Service: The staff was quick and courteous, despite the place being quite busy and crowded. The food arrived in a more than acceptable amount of time and without a hitch. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars, taking half off only for the supplì, but you can't give half stars. Still, consider it a 4.5. If you go back to the delicious supplì of the past, I'll give it a full 5 stars 😅 Jokes aside, overall, I definitely recommend it. I'll be back to try other dishes, and definitely the pizza (they don't serve it at lunch).
