For us, a pizza tour is a must every other Saturday. We start in Ovada, because you can't find pizza like Diego's in the area. The price is top-notch. Diego is helpful and kind; it's like being with family. Of course, the place isn't three stars, but we don't care about that; we go for the pizza and the wonderful hospitality. Thanks Diego. Ps. The bagna cauda pizza is the best.

The best! Every time we come back it's a delight. Diego's pizza is perfect! One of the few places left that does a proper pizza tour. The staff is friendly and helpful; I don't think I've seen anywhere near Alessandria this good. I can't wait to go back!!!

This was one of my most confusing restaurant visits ever. Everything was constantly changing – everything from excellent to disappointing. The pizza was really good, nothing to complain about. The concept of as much pizza as you can eat for only €20 is really good and worth it. The pasta dishes, however, were only mediocre, and a meat dish we ordered was unfortunately a complete disaster. The service was also somewhat up and down: At first, the waitress was quite unfriendly and rude, but later on, they became really nice, funny, and personable. So, overall, it was a very mixed impression – neither really bad nor really good.

We happened upon it by chance, at an inappropriate hour for lunch, and were greeted warmly. And we ate very well.
