A really good pizza, light dough and quality ingredients. There is a huge choice of pizzas for every taste. Very fast service and such a particular and characteristic environment, not very noisy as I like it.

Historic place in the center of Sarzana where you can eat excellent focaccia with a special dough (with turmeric and seeds) served by kind and competent staff at a reasonable price. I only recommend personalizing the environment a little more by exploiting the potential of the place.

29/08/2024: I return to Monterosso after a few years and with pleasure I returned to Al Casello where the food is always good. A pleasure to meet the always very kind staff! Lunch facing the sea under an umbrella! Top See you next time ❤️
23/08/2024: We stopped for dinner, the place is beautiful, the view was excellent, the staff were kind and efficient, I took a first course of spaghetti with a selection of fish and I give it a pass, the pasta was a little loose from the sauce and seemed pre-cooked (also because it was served to me in 10 minutes) my partner took a caprese with tomato and buffalo mozzarella (in my opinion it was poor, it wasn't whole but 4 slices) of sufficient quality but just enough value for money. My general impression is that it is a place with a tourist menu, however overall I give it a passing grade.

06/03/2024: Locale semplice ma pulito per una sosta veloce (in particolare a pranzo). Prezzi moderati, in linea con il locale. Buono il coniglio alla ligure.
11/02/2024: Sono stato a cena con tre miei amici spezzini in questo locale storico rinnovato alcuni anni fa. Qui oltre alla pizza e alla farinata si può gustare la vera cucina tipica spezzina. Piatti semplici della tradizione culinaria locale, preparati con cura utilizzando ottime materie prime. Ottimi i muscoli ripieni e davvero squisiti gli spaghetti con i muscoli. Servizio cortese e veloce. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Merita assolutamente!
