Without a reservation, we asked to eat within 30 minutes because there was a concert. The owner, calm and kind, accommodated three of us inside and even offered us an excellent solution: a house-made cart for three, strictly without cheese so we could appreciate its excellent preparation. Congratulations!

Very nice local pizzeria, a sure thing. The pizza is decent, the coccoli are very good. The carbonara is average.

Capaccino

22/12/2025: We were in Florence only for a day and we wanted to get most authentic Florentine dishes. The restaurant is a small family owned tucked away in Via De Capaccio a narrow renaissance lane. Food was sensational.
02/12/2025: I'm a journalist who visited this place a few days ago. This is a very small restaurant that's been in the alley for a long time. However, after two weeks of traveling around Italy, I've found that, despite the 4.8 or 4.9 out of 5 Google ratings, thousands of reviews, and other famous restaurants featured in countless guidebooks, this place has the best pizza and olive oil, and it was the most enjoyable meal I've ever had. 100% true. The cheese on the pizza was incredibly flavorful. The pizza dough was crispy. But most importantly, I want to talk about the olive oil. Thanks to the owner's kindness, I was given the opportunity to taste it separately, and it was absolutely fantastic. The olive oil here boasts the finest flavor and the best taste. The owner makes it himself. If you're a foodie or food columnist planning to visit this place, be sure to ask the owner in advance if you can order olive oil. The owner of this restaurant is truly a wonderful person. Every Korean probably knows the veteran owner of a long-established neighborhood restaurant. The owner of this place evokes that image. He's a charismatic fisherman, a cool guy, and he speaks fluent English. He's a seasoned owner who greets groups with a warm and friendly attitude, as well as solo travelers. The owner told me many fascinating stories about Florentine history, customs, battles, and sports, and even provided me with a fascinating book about the Florentine region to browse while I ate. Unable to sell his own olive oil, the owner recommended a nearby olive oil shop instead. Thanks to him, I was able to purchase some truly delicious olive oil and wine there. Also, something very important for Asian travelers: the owner was not racist towards me. I've experienced racism in many Italian shops, which is something that any Asian traveler will experience at least once. There was absolutely no such unpleasantness at this restaurant. My experience here was purely pleasant, and he treated me like an ordinary traveler, not an Asian. The fact that the owner treated me like an "ordinary traveler" visiting Florence left a very positive impression on me about this restaurant. I was deeply touched by the care the owner took to ensure my dining experience was enriching. He is a truly exceptional restaurant owner. It's not the owner's luck that this restaurant exists in Florence, but Florence's. Although it's a small restaurant, everything is prepared for a pleasant and delicious meal. I express my deepest gratitude for the delicious food, the finest olive oil, and the exceptional travel experience. I would 100% return to this restaurant.
