22/02/2026: Amazing location, good food, fast service, reasonable prices.

28/01/2026: It's no longer the Cascina of a few years ago, when everything was truly excellent. The fish appetizer is always a guarantee: smoked fish, shrimp cocktail, and octopus salad, all beautifully executed. First course: trofie with pistachios and shrimp. Good flavor, but the pasta was tough, a feeling confirmed several times by several people. Second course: very good swordfish au gratin, shrimp almost impossible to peel, and an unbalanced salad. Fruit salad: flavorless fruit; you can only tell what you're eating by looking at it. The service is generally courteous, but I've noticed a lack of professionalism, such as a failure to check whether everything was to your liking or for any intolerances or special needs, which should be part of the dining room's job (it also depends on the different attitudes you have toward those sitting at your table). The prices are always excellent, and the location is pleasant, especially in the summer. In short: affordable prices and a pleasant atmosphere, but the quality of the food and some aspects of the service are no longer what they once were. Currently, I would not recommend it to anyone looking for good food for any type of evening.
