Delicious pizza, characteristic place, polite and friendly restaurateur. Very pleasant adjacent seafront.

Located directly by the sea on the beach promenade. Very cozy, rustic atmosphere in the front guest room. We were there in winter. In the slightly elevated part of the room, a small wood stove provides cozy warmth. The food was tasty, sometimes quite salty. A good selection of regional dishes with fish and meat. The pizzas are also recommended. Big praise to the gentleman who served us: very friendly and personable.

I am very overwhelmed by the owner, such a heartfelt person, so rarely experienced. The pizza was very good, the homemade wine was perfect

quando capito a Falerna, sia a pranzo che a cena, mangio sempre in questo posto, che ha un rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Ho sempre mangiato benissimo e pagato il giusto.

We had lunch on the outside terrace. The service failed simply because the excessive speed in serving was annoying. We were still finishing the starter and they had already served the first courses. So, obviously, we had to eat them cold then. I don't recommend pasta with clams. Tasteless and they tell you they are spaghetti instead they were square spaghetti like guitar (which I don't like with fish), the cold swordfish is uncommentable... the only dish I highly recommend is the tempura prawns. Really tasty and the tempura made to perfection. One very annoying thing was the presence of a cat under people's feet who, poor thing, was asking for food but some ladies were scared (or disgusted)... I thought: it has never happened to me to have lunch or dinner out and find any animal wandering between the tables. I think the owners should find a method to keep him from wandering freely like this while people are eating. Returning to the restaurant, for me, a big no. There is a lot to improve, especially the communication and times between the waiter and the kitchen...

The Il Pirata restaurant offers fresh fish in a welcoming environment. Excellent grilled octopus and fried calamari, accompanied by a good selection of wines. Attentive service and prices in line with the quality. Perfect for fish lovers.
