Informal and welcoming environment, the managers are kind and competent. The mixed fried foods are excellent, to start with, and the pizzas offered are excellent. Bonus for some "special" versions of the day.

Grano is a cozy restaurant where you can eat deliciously. The pizzas are very good, with a crispy base and fresh toppings. The café area is nicely decorated and atmospheric, ideal for a drink afterwards. What makes it complete is the friendly service. The people here are hospitable and make you feel welcome. In short, a must for a nice evening out!

Perfect place, quiet, pretty, cheap and super delicious and with a menu in Spanish, the only one I've seen in Rome so far, exquisite desserts and 10/10 service all around

Il Grano è veramente il posto giusto se cerchi buona cucina romanesca e clima familiare. La locandiera è veramente simpatica e garbata come anche la cameriera. Buonissimo tutto e ottimo il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Andate presto!

10 years later, here I am back in Rome and at the Il Grano pizzeria! The pizzas are always just as good and crispy, the music is great and Stefania, the owner of the place, is adorable! Thanks again 😀

28/03/2025: Add this to your list, get a reservation. It is not to be missed. A small amount of seats and they get filled immediately. Best lasagna I’ve ever had. We ate it before getting a picture. The wine selection was perfect.
23/03/2025: Posto piccolino ma molto caratteristico. Cucina varia ma soprattutto romana. Menù ridotto ma molto vario e soprattutto piatti ottimi a buon prezzo. Porchetta e cicoria divine
