A fantastic experience! The place is welcoming and well looked after, a real pleasure for the eyes and the palate. I tried the pizza with french fries and truffled sausage and found it simply delicious! Well cooked, crunchy and with a light mixture that is easily digested. The Ascoli olives are another dish not to be missed, really excellent, and the vegetarian pizza is equally tasty. The prices are absolutely average and the staff is very friendly. Special thanks to the owner, Mr. Loris, and his wife, who are always nice and friendly. An experience that I highly recommend to everyone!

It is not in a historic center, or even in the center of a tourist city. but it is absolutely worth coming to this small town (Villa Oliveti) to eat a pizza that is worthy of the name, given that you can find pizza everywhere. In a small, clean and welcoming place, I found the pleasure of savoring a pizza with an exceptional dough leavened perfectly and with the right amount of toppings, not to mention the varied quantity of types of pizza including white, red and focaccia. It is useless to describe the taste, each of us has a perception but, I assure you that I struggled to finish it, and at the same time when I left the place I was almost hungry. this shows the perfection of this pizza. Furthermore, the icing on the cake is that the Christmas period makes artisanal panettone that is out of this world, from the classic one to the three chocolate one, to the fig and walnut one or the pistachio one. In short, one of those places that makes you want to go out to eat even twice a week. And now, after years of frequenting it, I can only confirm that it is difficult to find better. Try it to believe it.

The pizza is great! Light, well stuffed and well cooked. You can choose different types of dough including traditional, 7 grains, hemp and wholemeal. Furthermore there is a wide choice of pizzas, red and white, to be enjoyed on site or to take away. Those who want to take away pizza can book by phone and pick up the pizza at the agreed time. They are always on time. There is the possibility of taking a children's menu or baby pizzas, so those with children will be happy. The place is small but welcoming. Prices are normal. The staff is friendly and professional.

Castello Marcantonio

01/06/2025: A monument that stands on the remains of a large Roman villa, inhabited until late antiquity, which between the 6th and 7th centuries became a castrum of those Byzantines who had retained control of the nearby port of Aternum (Pescara) as a fundamental landing place and intermediate port between the capital of the Exarchate Ravenna and Constantinople, and who clearly created the first nucleus of the historic Torre Alex (from Alessandro Valignano, one of the lords of the Valignano family of Cepagatti in the 17th century). The tower was consolidated in the Lombard era as a control point of a strategic road junction at the crossroads between the S.S. Picena Aprutina and the routes that went up to Forca di Penne and the Aquilano, and which from the 11th-12th centuries became the seat of the lords of the fiefdom of the Norman, Swabian and Angevin eras of Cepagatti, and then passed from the 15th century to the Valignano family and finally to the current owners. The first archaeological investigations by the Superintendency date back to the 1970s and continued between 1998 and 2011 in Piazza S. Rocco, bringing to light important evidence of the Roman era preserved in the City Council Hall. The restoration of the Castle returns to the public the so-called “sala delle cisterne” (cistern room), an authentic and rare Roman cistern 22 meters long and 4 meters wide, as well as the “sala del grano” (grain room), 340 square meters large on the top floor of the monument with a panoramic view of the Pescara valley. The restoration of the Marcantonio Castle, begun in 2008, represents a “place in history” and the over 2000 square meters spread over 4 levels offer the possibility of hosting particularly evocative events. Unfortunately, it is now in decline due to problems with the owners and is closed. Too bad...
