Returning to Gemelli Pizza on Via Cavour is an unmissable ritual for me every time I'm in Rome. It immediately takes me back to my graduate school days, when we had classes right here: it's a stop that warms the heart (and the palate). The place is pleasantly informal, ideal for those looking for quality without too many frills just steps from Termini Station. Here's what makes this place special: The Pizza: Delicious pizza by the slice, meticulously prepared and with a truly remarkable variety of options. Not just pizza: If you're not in the mood for pizza, the traditional Roman first courses are excellent, as are the sandwiches and their supplì (unmissable!). The Atmosphere: The staff is always friendly and kind, an added bonus not to be taken for granted in such a touristy area. Always a positive experience, I recommend it to anyone passing through the area looking for authentic Roman flavor. I'll definitely be back!

This pizzeria is among the best we've tried in Rome. The pizza is well-made and light. The prices are average. The owners are very helpful and courteous.

What a find! Small and great value with really fresh and proper Italian pizza and Panini etc eat in or take away. Really loved seeing how carefully the food is prepared and the service was lovely and friendly. A real gem .
