Perfect location & very friendly staff

We stayed in the hotel's Bristol Suite. The room is clean and tastefully decorated. The bedding is comfortable. Room service is excellent, with nightly room service that prepares your bedtime, which is much appreciated. Valet parking, porter, and porter are all on hand. We have absolutely nothing to do; they take care of everything. The staff is friendly, and some also speak French (a big plus when you're not good at the language). The breakfast buffet is comprehensive and very good. The hotel is perfectly located in the historic center of Florence. Just step outside the door and everything is nearby. We loved it, and if we return to Florence, this is the hotel we'll stay at. Thank you to the entire team for your welcome and professionalism.

The hotel fulfills every expectation of a five-star hotel: refined interiors, excellent amenities, and noticeable attention to every detail. However, the staff deserves special mention – consistently warm, attentive, and professional. Special praise goes to the butler and concierge, whose discreet and courteous approach makes every wish possible and makes the stay even more unforgettable. The layout of the rooms is also very interesting: there is a recently renovated area with modern, luxurious rooms featuring the highest technical and design standards. There's also a traditional section with classically elegant rooms that exude the charm of old-world luxury – in the style of a historic grand hotel. A small note: The spa area is accessible by appointment only and for an additional charge. Therefore, booking in advance is recommended to ensure you can enjoy the exclusive treatments and the stylish wellness area. Overall, the stay at the Helvetia & Bristol was simply fantastic – a perfect blend of luxury, service, style, and location. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Florence at its finest.

We absolutely loved our stay at Helvetia & Bristol! The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome—and our dog was treated like royalty. He got just as much attention (if not more!) than we did. It’s rare to find a place that’s this elegant and still so down-to-earth and dog-friendly. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
