Spot just outside our Airbnb, and what a place it is. Amazing food, warm service and hospitality, a local favourite it seems. Bustling with families and friends. Warm, cosy and delicious. Had back to back 2 meals here. Might go again for dinner tonight.

We were so sad that this restaurant was closed on our last night in the town. It was our fault for not checking the opening times! We came here on our first night and loved it. We ordered a pizza and pasta and the waiter was helpful in letting us know that portions were big and indeed they were. Service was attentive and friendly. And the garlic sauce!! We loved dipping the pizza crusts in the sauce...not sure if that was the intended purpose. It reminded me of the garlic sauce that pizza hut used to have in Australia?? . And my husband loved the apple strudel, he never stops talking about it.

Here's a special post on gluten-free food. We visited the restaurant twice. All pizzas are gluten-free. The dough is purchased and tastes phenomenal with toppings. The pizzas are prepared in a tray in a wood-fired oven. As a celiac who can tolerate dust contamination, I tolerated the pizzas perfectly. Gluten-free pasta is also available. The very friendly hostess has extensive knowledge of celiac disease and can answer any critical questions. An absolute recommendation for celiacs.

We felt like cherished guests in a private home, not just customers. Delicious pizza, great service:-) The boss chatted with us for a while and gave us some sweets:-) You still feel welcome as a guest here, which has become extremely rare.
