An evening with friends at this historic Lucca restaurant, which used to be my Thursday lunch stop with schoolmates in the early '90s when it was called "Fratelli Bandiera"... and a lot of water has passed under the bridge, and I've found the place much improved!! But above all, kudos to the people who run it—I don't know their name, but at the cash register, like the person who churned out pizzas, focaccias, calzones, and more...and also to the staff serving tables, all welcoming, friendly, helpful, kind, and quick. The cooked focaccia and mozzarella and cecina were very, very good. Wait for me, I'll be back soon!

Excellent food in a beautiful square shaded by plane trees. What more could you ask for?! I was in Lucca 4 years ago and am returning today. When I thought about what to eat, I immediately thought of coming here. The platter is truly excellent, just as I remembered it!

Welcoming place, helpful and courteous staff. We had lunch with a good prosciutto and melon, accompanied by an excellent white focaccia and an excellent cecina.

I can absolutely recommend it! The pizzas are exceptionally good, the service is great, and the prices are impressive. Sitting outside under the plane trees, you're completely happy.

A pizzeria, but not only, located near Piazza Napoleone in Lucca in a very charming setting. We enjoyed the Tordelli Lucchesi with Chianina ragù and the famous cecina. Excellent and tasty dishes (especially the tordelli), friendly and helpful staff! Prices are absolutely average. 👌

Well done, despite appearing like a classic tourist trap, they offer you a good aperitif with a nice side of bruschetta, a few slices of cured meat at a very fair price; a nice surprise. 👍🏽 But a word of caution: foreigners are not allowed to drink wine and cappuccino... 😢 Poor Italy 😂
