02/01/2026: We went for New Year's Eve lunch yesterday, with a reservation made a full two months ago, before the menu was even released.
We did so because we've always trusted this restaurant, which has guaranteed us high quality in the past, and because we absolutely wanted to be there.
The owner assured us that once the menu was published (which he said would be a little more expensive than other years, but no more than €90 per person), he would send it to us via WhatsApp.
The WhatsApp menu never arrived. However, a few weeks ago, a menu was posted on the restaurant's Facebook page (photo attached) that clearly stated:
€80 for lunch + €15 for seafood per person, for a total of €95.
Although the price wasn't in line with local prices, we confirmed our presence anyway, expressing our utmost confidence. In fact, we stopped by in person a few days earlier to confirm. On that occasion, we spoke with the owner's brother, who told us that the owner was calling to confirm (which we never received), but that there were no problems because we had stopped by in person. We were even told to stay calm because, in his own words, "even if the price is high, he always makes a little adjustment."
Let's get to the point: yesterday we paid €600 for six people, or €100 each.
When we asked for an explanation, the owner dismissed the matter by saying that there must have been a mistake on the menu posted on Facebook, without apologizing, and in fact almost implying that we had misread the menu.
We found €20 for a small plate of seafood absolutely exorbitant, and, above all, €100 per person for this lunch a truly disproportionate price.
The quality may be good, but transparency and respect for the customer come first, and unfortunately, they were lacking this time.
29/12/2025: Excellent Christmas lunch (exceptional price compared to normal), but the quality was exceptional, even in the choice of menu. Excellent service... all the waiters were great.
