Napoli, Pizzeria del Popolo, one of the best pizzas in the city is here, a popular place on the side of Piazza Mercato. A real Neapolitan feeling to eat pizza here, classic, simple, delicious, perfect. The place is authentic that's why I recommend it to everyone.

It was absolutely delicious, just how a pizza should be. The owners and staff were very friendly and simply superb; we felt very comfortable. Highly recommended.

It seems to be a very popular place among the locals. On Saturdays at 12 noon, there are a lot of Italians in line to get in, but takeout takes 10 minutes. The pizzas are very tasty and affordable, the calzone deserves a special mention (pizza ripieno). You can communicate in English to some extent. I recommend it.

The true soul of Naples Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​We came here on the recommendation of a local friend, and, well, he was absolutely right. Don't expect frills or a gourmet magazine-like atmosphere: here you can feel the real Naples, the chaotic, authentic, and damn good kind. ​We had a classic Margherita and one with cracklings [an infinite delight]. The dough is cloud-like, so light, the kind that makes you finish the pizza and immediately want to order another because it doesn't feel at all heavy. But the real highlight, folks, is the pasta frittatina: crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, a piece of history in every bite. ​The staff is super friendly, they make you feel at home even if there's a line outside. The prices are very fair for the quality they offer. If you want to eat pizza as it should be, without too many mincing words, you have to come here. Just one note: be prepared to wait a bit during peak hours, but I assure you, every minute of waiting is worth it with the first bite. We'll definitely be back!

Located in a historic square, Piazza del Carmine. Typical Neapolitan pizza, excellent fried food, and friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
