Returning to the most suggestive outdoor pizzeria in Cosenza, I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza that was even better than the last time, thin but soft and with top-quality ingredients. It is the most suggestive place to eat a pizza in Cosenza, with tables positioned on C.so Plebiscito and with a view of the old city. The pizza is a classic Calabrian one offered with a wide choice of toppings. A heartfelt applause to all the staff, kind, thoughtful and helpful. Closed on Tuesday.

Pizzeria del Corso is located in one of the most beautiful and suggestive areas of Cosenza, on Corso Plebiscito. Being able to dine, in the warmer seasons, on the Corso and enjoy the view of the entire old part of the city is certainly very pleasant. The place is always very crowded, especially on Saturdays, so the waits are, understandably, not short. However, more attention should be paid to serving all the pizzas at the same time or at least with a not excessively long gap in time. Which does not always happen. The staff is however prepared to fulfill and respond to all the requests of the numerous tables. The pizza is classic Cosenza, low and crispy, good. The price is more than fair. 👍😁🍕

Excellent service fair prices for an excellent service I don't cancel the priority visit I correct tonight's pizza it was inedible high edge and then the rest was worse than a piadina which among other things had no flavor except for the salt

Pizzeria San Gennaro

21/06/2025: On holiday in Cariati I went to this place with my husband and our dog for the first time tonight (20/06/2025). I had a S. Gennaro pizza, my husband a Diavola pizza with the addition of 'nduja. We were satisfied with the dough, the generous topping, the digestibility. Friendly staff, fair prices. The only suggestion I would give is to include the half liter or quarter for the wine instead of just the bottle. If a person goes to eat alone or as a couple, but only one of the two drinks wine, it is not conceivable to order a bottle for €12 (i.e. the cost of two classic pizzas!), to drink half a glass. Since not everyone likes to take away what is left over for either food or drinks, in the end you give up wine altogether. Of course there is beer in different measures, but not everyone likes beer just as not everyone likes to pair pizza with fizzy drinks in cans! The lack of "bulk" wine in the menu is the reason why I give four stars, otherwise I would have given five without reservations...
05/06/2025: Renovated compared to last year, the pizzeria has changed many aspects, the furniture, nice in line with the restyling, there are more tables than before, the oven has been moved to the opposite side and unfortunately it is gas. But the owner's lack of willingness to discuss with customers is the dissonant element together with the pizza that is completely different from the previous one and the lady did not like it and hid behind the cash register annoyed by the criticism shown. Pizza with a low edge, one burnt underneath, croquettes with little salt and dry arancini. I hope they change everything, it would be a shame to do without. I compliment you on the price.

16/05/2025: Very nice place on Via Roma, with a characteristic ceiling full of warm light bulbs. Excellent cutting boards, or sandwiches, French fries, appetizers. They made me a personalized cutting board without meat, rich and tasty. Wide selection of alcoholic beverages and bitters, also typical of the place. Friendly staff; reasonable prices.
