Not far from the renowned PROVOLINA, it offers fast service, not yet delayed by delivery, and a rustic yet professional atmosphere. Takeout is especially available. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ very well earned.

What a surprise! Super thin, very tasty, and not too heavy pizza! Fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is completely casual and friendly, with locals constantly dropping in. You can sit down (though there's not much space) and enjoy your meal!

Provoletta is a historic outpost on the Bari waterfront, located just beyond the city lights, just before the lighthouse. A pizzeria known for takeout, where the lucky ones can find a table inside. Everyone here knows each other, even those who come for the first time. Behind the counter blazes a wood-fired oven. Leo, a seasoned pizza chef, directs the symphony of a cheerful crew that rolls out the loaves, toppings them with heart, and bakes them with timeless dedication. The menu features over 50 pizzas, from classic to more innovative, but these guys will always be ready to bake the pizza of your dreams. As usual, to test the authenticity of the pizza, I ordered a Margherita as an entree, accompanied by the ever-present Peroni, served at 36°F (3°C). Thin and fragrant with stringy mozzarella, the sauce fresh and flavorful. Not contemporary, not gourmet, not Neapolitan, this is authentic Barese pizza! After this first one, we ordered others with turnips, cardoncelli mushrooms, zucchini flowers, French cheese... and finally, we finished with the Ciccio Nutella. We truly indulged. The place is spartan but intimate and welcoming, the prices are old-fashioned, the quality is good, and the experience is fun. Maybe it's because when the doors open, the room fills with love and iodine, but the pizza here is truly tasty! Recommended!
