HISTORICAL place in CENTOCELLE, it was already there when I went to the Botticelli in the 90s, all the dishes were always EXCELLENT, both PIZZA, FISH AND MEAT👍
Fast table service, very friendly and approachable waiters and owner.

From Amicone in Via Tor dé Schiavi Vecchia to the intersection with Via dei Platani, it is in the deep heart of the beautiful centocelle district, a stone's throw from Piazza dei Mirti (metro stop C).
it is a historic restaurant, old fashioned but at the same time modern and sincere.
it is very versatile: it is also a trattoria and a pizzeria. the menu is very rich but not excessively so, in my opinion restaurants that offer too many dishes at the same time make one suspect the use of pre-cooked foods and defrosted sauces of dubious origin.
Amicone's cuisine is sincere, always fresh and first choice ingredients and raw materials. And it's also for all budgets, because at Amicone you don't spend much and the portions are generous. Enough of these gourmet restaurants where the first is a forkful and the second a bite. just go and eat spaghetti with clams at the seaside where they throw a pound at you, it's the pure truth... and don't tell me that all the restaurants that serve large portions are for truck drivers. and I would point out that the first courses at Amicone are plentiful but not exaggerated or unseasoned, on the contrary... they are super seasoned.
everyone in centocelle knows that Dall'Amicone eats well and feels good, my 91 year old father-in-law who will have seen them born says it, all my colleagues, friends and acquaintances say it. because it is the truth. Be wary of restaurants that make fun of you on the bill, quality and quantity.
I've known this restaurant for 15 years and as they say in Rome: I've never had a bad time...
good starters, land, classic and fish first courses, good second courses, desserts... all very good.
I often get steak and it's delicious, excellent meat with nice fat... the yellow one.
the fried prawns and calamari are excellent... I would also eat it for breakfast.
We have now known Emiliano dell'Amicone all our lives, who is a good Christian and works hard as well as honestly. when you arrive even if the restaurant is full he always makes you feel at ease. He always gives you constructive advice and puts his heart before profit.
definitely 5 stars, it's a shame there isn't a sixth star... be wary of improvised restaurateurs and go and see Emiliano to confirm my thoughts.

Nice place, good food, but you have to wait to be served. The pizza is thin, Roman pizza, if you like it that way, I recommend it.

Siamo stati invitati dalla ditta Renzetti srl , per una cena di lavoro, con manicaretti prettamente romaneschi, come i salti i bocca alla romana ed i carciofi alla giudia , passando una indimenticabile serata con ottima compagnia ed ottimo cibo , da ripetere
