I stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It's a takeout pizzeria, but you can eat in because it has a few tables. In my opinion, the pizza was excellent, with a nice, firm dough and well-seasoned toppings. The puccia was also excellent, light and well-seasoned. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The bread, which he makes with his own pizza dough, was also very good. The atmosphere was very simple and clean.

The best pizza in Ravenna, easy to digest. Run by friendly and welcoming staff. It's primarily a takeout pizzeria, but they also have a few tables for dine-in. I'll gladly return.

I work nearby and often satisfy my pizza cravings at Gladiatore, which, luckily, is also open for lunch, since I prefer to avoid too many carbs at dinner. The dough is light and easy to digest, and the toppings are always generous and excellent.
They also make a fantastic puccia, and their bread (which you can buy) is out of this world. I've tried it several times with a bruschetta they kindly offered while I was waiting for my pizzas—a small gesture that makes a difference, always much appreciated. The staff, of course, is friendly and helpful; I really appreciate the fact that they never turn me down, not even with my last-minute requests! Thank you so much!

This pizzeria made my trip to Ravenna perfect. Wood fired oven, fresh traditional ingredients, super nice pizzaiolo, an unexpectedly massive pizza for an extremely reasonable price. This is the pizza we were looking for. Bring your whole family!

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, you could even say it's "so-so," but it's really worth it.
The pizza is delicious, the size is generous (a standard one is enough for one very hungry person, but a maxi one will easily feed three), and the service is incredibly friendly. Every time you come back, you can tell the staff is genuinely happy.
I highly recommend it.

A truly special place! There's a warm, family atmosphere, thanks to the kind, welcoming, and always smiling people. You can tell they put their heart into everything they do.
The pizzas are delicious, light, and full of flavor, and the pucce... simply spectacular! It's always a pleasure to return, because not only do you eat well, but you also feel truly at home. 💛

What can I say... since I work near "al Gladiatore," I often get pizza or puccia from them. The pizza dough is excellent and (important for me) it doesn't make you thirsty!! The pizza chef is top-notch, and it took him very little time to make me feel warmly welcomed! The pizzas speak for themselves, rich and tasty 😍 but that's not all... if you have to wait a bit, they'll tempt your taste buds with a bruschetta made with their own bread! Highly recommended!
