29/01/2026: Unfortunately, it's a dreary place in winter. There's construction everywhere. No restaurant.
31/12/2025: The campsite is simply a dream. There's hardly a more beautiful place (for my wife and me). A holiday here is just perfect!
What does perfect mean to us?
The location:
The location is one of the main reasons why this campsite is a real insider tip. You can't camp any closer to the beach. And in our opinion, this beach is the most beautiful beach in Italy. From here, we paddled our canoe every day through the stunning cliffs of Capo Vaticano, reaching idyllic little beaches. In the evenings, the sun sets directly over the sea, and the Stromboli volcano, rising from the ocean, is bathed in the deep red glow of the setting sun.
The price:
I actually considered not leaving a review so that the campsite would remain a hidden gem and stay so affordable. I don't remember the current prices, but the campsite is worth every penny, and they really don't charge much (compared to other campsites). I also hope that the staff will continue to make it worthwhile to maintain the campsite in the future.
... The Staff:
The people who work here are incredibly nice. Anyone traveling this far into Italy should expect a language barrier, but the English spoken here is more than sufficient. We always received a warm welcome, and everyone is incredibly friendly.
The Restaurant:
The pizza here is delicious, and the restaurant itself is highly recommended. Prices are reasonable, and you can eat right by the sea.
The Restrooms:
The restrooms are pretty much the only thing that's a bit below average. They could use a renovation, but washing, showering, and using the toilet are perfectly adequate. Don't expect luxury. It really didn't bother us, though, as we were so incredibly impressed with everything else.
Type of Vacation:
I think it's important to mention that we're quiet vacationers. We don't need parties and nightlife; we just want peace and quiet. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, this is definitely not the place for you. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet and the sea, this is the perfect spot.
Activities for children:
There are activities for children here, and there are also activity leaders, but since we don't have children, we're not familiar with the program. Staying on the edge of the campsite, we hardly noticed anything.
Conclusion:
It's not a luxury campsite. However, it's one of the most beautiful places we've ever vacationed, and anyone who wants to swim, paddleboard, sunbathe, and enjoy the sea will find it perfect!
