Cheapest place we found to eat in Sorrento. Pizzas are excellent, better than most places. 3 euros for a large peroni, bargain. Staff are lovely. Try the fried stuff like Olive all'Ascolana for an aperitivo.

We gave Pizzeria da Michele a go as it was not far from the place we were staying and It seemed very popular with locals and tourists alike. Food was good and exceptional value for money. The Lady who took our order was very polite as was the man who brought us our order. We had fried appetisers and pizza, both of which were very good. It is a takeaway but has a outside seating area that is covered with fans and has a couple of Televisions.

We stopped in here around 4:30 after spending the afternoon at Bagni Regina Giovanna. We were damp, dirty and tired and wanted something quick. Google said they were closed but they were open. Ordered 2 pizzas, a beer, lemon cello and a sprite. The sweet older gentleman took our order and delivered our drinks then later our pizzas. They were delicious! Crust was amazing and the flavors were fresh. I come from the “tomato pie” area of NJ so my pizza expectations are high. This was fantastic!
