There are multiple Pizzeria Restaurants in Porto San Paolo, this is one of the best and the prices and service are very good. The restaurant is open until quite late in the evening, depending on how busy they are, but you can certainly get a meal upto 10.30pm or even later some evenings. The menu is predominantly Pizza and a wise selection of 'Pizza Sandwiches' which are made with Pizza dough and on the menu, strangely as 'La Camiceria' which literally translates as 'Shirt Shop'!!!?? (Could not work that out!) The restaurant isn't huge and is totally outside on a large veranda in the main square (next to the cake and ice cream shop) The menu also has Pasta dishes but these are limited to 4 or 5 choices, only one being vegetarian (Pasta Arrabiata). A lot of the dishes and quite a few Pizzas are including seafood, Clams, Prawns, Mussels etc. If you don't want or like Pizza then there are the Pasta dishes or several Salads to choose from, however, if you don't eat fish or seafood, you might find your choices very limited. I am vegetarian and found it quite difficult. If you are Vegan then there is probably only a few choices available! The restaurant becomes very busy on Saturday night and especially Sunday evening, when a lot of locals eat out by tradition and their extended families. If you visit on a Sunday evening, then arrive early or expect a long wait for a table. The food is very good and service is friendly and fairly quick, except Sunday! The menu has a great selection of wines and drinks and house wine (local wine) is very good and very reasonable at 6 euros for half litre carafe or 12 euros for 1 litre. There are no desserts on the menu but next door, is a cake shop and ice cream shop open very late, where you can indulge on some very delicious desserts on the veranda. Great service and the owner is very friendly and always willing to help and translate if you have difficulties. Prices are very fair and reasonable for the area. Recommended.

Abbiamo ordinato 3 pizze e una pasta al pomodoro per il bimbo. Una delle 3 pizze era con le cozze che da menù dovevano essere gratinate. Arrivata con normalissime cozze non gratinate, la spiegazione è che molti non le volevano e così non le proponevano più. Ma sul menù venivano indicate come gratinate. La seconda pizza con la bottarga nulla di particolare. La terza attivata margherita anziché marinara, errore assolutamente che può capitare, poi rimediato. La pasta arrivata 10 min dopo le pizze.
