Small restaurant with incredibly delicious food. The waiter spoke excellent English. Everything was delicious, but the pancake cotta was especially amazing. We'd love to come back.
The venues...the ones from the past - A historic restaurant near the center of Galzignano. In summer, you can dine on the outdoor porch, and there's plenty of parking.
I saw a lot of pizzas on the tables, so I assume it's a popular dish, but we focused on something else.
Given the "tropical" temperatures, we opted for two cold dishes: goose breast with crostini and Angus carpaccio with arugula and parmesan.
I must say the goose breast was remarkable, and the Angus beef...too!
Browsing the menu, I saw classic hill dishes: bigoli, pasta, grilled meats, polenta, etc., and a dish that took me back at least 30 years: penne alla vodka!!!
Also worth trying are the homemade desserts, which looked very inviting.
The price was fair, absolutely average.
