Pizzeria C'era Una Volta In Taranto

Excellent pizza, fast service, small but welcoming location

I was there a few days ago and had an excellent pizza: a wheel for three people alone. One half was San Daniele and the other was Carbonara. I also had a good beer, water, and amaro. The service was excellent, but the location was a bit small.

I think the products at this pizzeria are fresh. Very fresh. So fresh that I had to wait for the tomatoes to be picked and the wheat to be ground into flour. Delay: an hour and a half. Do you know how much can happen in an hour and a half? They say it takes eight seconds to fall in love. It took me two to realize how mediocre the panzerotti were. While waiting, I played a game of Risk. I almost finished it. (Spoiler alert for my fellow readers: no, I didn't win.) At this point, there are various hypotheses: – the restaurant was attacked by UFOs and the chef fought humanoids armed with a rifle like in They Live; – or the second coming of Christ arrived and the chef was blinded by the light of the halo. An hour and a half. In an hour and a half, I could have run about 9 km jogging at 6 km/h... if only my legs hadn't hurt. An hour and a half. Maybe the chef doesn't know how to read a clock. Maybe he lives in a different dimension than ours, where present, past, and future coincide. I recommend installing an electronic clock, one without hands, that only shows the time. Set it carefully, eh? Yeah, come on. After all, an hour and a half late is totally normal... Another piece of advice I'd like to give is to buy the delivery guy a DeLorean, but I'm convinced that even if you were going nearly 88 miles per hour and traveling through time to deliver pizzas, you'd be at least thirty minutes late. I'm going to hate you in silence because I don't know what to write anymore, kisses.
