Just steps from Piazza Unità and the Basilica della Annunziata, in the heart of Corso Garibaldi, lies Pizzeria Carramba, a welcoming, family-run Mexican-style restaurant. It features an indoor dining room and plenty of outdoor seating, perfect for summer evenings. Service is provided by young, friendly staff, while the pizza chef, a true veteran of the kitchen, carefully selects local ingredients. The pizza is excellent (cooked in a wood-fired oven), made with local flours and left to rise for 48 hours, with a wide selection of ingredients and combinations. Prices are absolutely average. After enjoying the pizza, I recommend a walk to discover the beauty of Ispica.
