I happened upon it by chance one weeknight: excellent pizza, simple and a bit improvised service, but overall friendly and nice.

A beautiful pizzeria located in Amantea's Piazza Cappuccini. The place is a bit small, although it seats about 24 people. However, you can sit in the gazebo in front of the pizzeria in the winter, or in the summer, you can dine outside with plenty of tables. Reservations are required. Accessible to those with disabilities. Wide selection of pizzas. Friendly and courteous staff.

I ate at this pizzeria with my family, choosing based on the reviews I'd read. I'll start by saying that I'm a restaurateur, and to be honest, I found everything very 1970s. 1. Poor customer service. Two swinging beachfront garden tables that barely fit a pizza plate. 3 When the waiter clears the dirty plate between courses, he advises us to keep our forks (perhaps they're short on utensils). 4 I read reviews of high-quality products (the porcini mushrooms on my pizza tasted watery and bad, and since when do you inform them that speck becomes extremely salty and inedible?) 4 I also noticed that the waiters serving the tables help the pizza chef to top the pizzas behind the cashier's back, all in front of the customer who pays the bill. 5 We asked for the bill, and the cashier even showed up with her mouth full and still eating. LASTLY, I HEARD THAT THEY CAN EVEN HANDLE 400-500 people IN AUGUST. Given the location, in the center of Amantea, it's certainly possible, but it would be appropriate to improve. All this to give dignity to the CALABRESE RESTAURANT INDUSTRY. Sorry for the outburst, but we can and must do better, especially in 2025.

I'm on holiday in Amantea, they recommended this pizzeria to me... I was there last night and it really is the best, from the appetizers to the pizzas.... Congratulations 👌
